OUR STORY
Excitement Awaits
At BTBA Prepschool, we have created an enriching environment tailored for families and their children, fostering a space where young minds can learn, grow, and evolve into future leaders. Our mission is to cultivate a vibrant academic atmosphere infused with fun and family values. We are dedicated to nurturing each child's potential, guiding them towards becoming productive, compassionate citizens prepared to excel in an ever-changing world!
Meeting Schedule and Student Requirements
Our micro school group will meet four days per week, Monday through Thursday, from 9am to 2pm. Students in this class must be fluent in basic reading, math, and writing, preferably at a 2nd through 5th grade level. The focus of this group will be on project-based learning skills, character development, and service activities.
Teaching Guide and Family Engagement
Our micro school group will have a permanent teaching guide who will oversee the students' daily schedules, monitor their academic growth, schedule conferences, arrange field trips and service assignments, and engage with families throughout the year. The teaching guide will ensure that each student receives the support and guidance needed for their educational journey.
Learning Resources and Student Development
Students will learn from a variety of resources and tools, including online/virtual classes, live classes, book clubs, study halls, quarterly projects, service learning, and benchmarks. They will develop the ability to communicate effectively, manage their daily schedules, lead conferences, and create and articulate both short-term and long-term goals for their future.
Enrichment Classes and Assessment
We will offer a variety of enrichment and academic-based classes on a rolling basis to both community students and micro-school students at a per-session fee. These classes will run for 6-8 weeks at a time and will include pre/post assessment tools to measure their effectiveness. Assessments will help evaluate the validity of the classes and the teaching approach, allowing administrative staff to create future classes or replace those that do not meet the community's standards or needs.
