COVID-19 AWARENESS

Project Future Inc. is taking extreme measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. As always, the health and safety of our faculty and staff members,  families, and visitors are our top priority. Specific procedures have been set in motion and are outlined below.

Beyond The Books Academy

Arrival and Dismissal

Upon arrival each child will have their temperature checked by an infrared forehead thermometer and documented. Children will only be able to enter and exit through one door in the building.

  • To prevent the spread of germs we are permitting guests from inserting any of the buildings unless they have received written approval by the Director, Phebe Phillips prior to their visit.

  • Restrooms are strictly for the use of our students and faculty members. No outsider will be allowed to enter the building and use such facilities.

  • Each child’s belongings will be kept separated from others’ and in individually labeled containers, cubbies, or areas. It is the responsibility of the parent to sanitize those items as they choose.

  • Each child will be assigned to a specific group. Groups of students will stay together, with the same teacher throughout/across school days. Groups will not be allowed to mix.

  • Frequently touched surfaces will be cleaned and disinfected in the school daily, and between use as frequently as possible.

  • Individually plated meals will be served to each child.

  • Parents, we ask that you do your best to complete the things below:

    • Encourage your child(ren) to avoid sharing electronic devices, toys, books, and other games or learning aids.

Your Center Stage Enrichment Center

  • If children are showing any symptoms of COVID-19 while in the care of Project Future staff, parents/guardians will be contacted immediately and asked to pick-up their child(ren) immediately. It is mandatory that the child(ren) do not return to the center for two weeks (14 days) and are required to provide two negative tests results for COVID-19 prior to their return.

    • If child(ren) tests negative for COVID-19, but have contracted any other contagious disease, a doctors note is required in order for the child(ren) to return to the facility.
